Global Conference Raises Bar for Coaching Profession

Second World Business & Executive Coaching Summit Launches May 1, 2012

Germantown,  MD, April 11, 2012 – The Library of Professional Coaching‘s co-founder, Suzi Pomerantz, is pleased to announce her selection as a presenter and partner in the second annual World Business and Executive Coaching Summit, a global, virtual conference featuring the top 25 luminaries and thought leaders in the business coaching industry. These elite will present their best practices and most valuable insights to thousands of coaches worldwide who desire to learn from the finest minds and most successful leaders in the profession.
Last year, more than 7000 coaches from 129 countries participated in the first WBECS conference held via easy-to-use webinar technology. The draw, says WBECS President Ben Croft, is the highest caliber cream of the crop delivering sales-pitch-free, rich content to live audiences that can interact with them.
“A staggering 81% of coaching businesses are failing before they even reach their third year,” says Croft. “Under-trained coaches are damaging the name of the profession. We want to close the gap between the top coaches and the ones barely making it by showing the latter how to coach more effectively and offer real value to their clients.”
Croft applauds the efforts of other leaders and organizations that have taken measures to improve this situation for the industry such as the Library of Professional Coaching. “We should all be working to raise the bar by improving the ethics and standards. It helps individual coaches do better and it helps the industry succeed as a whole.”
The Pre-Summit series, May 1-31, 2012, offers a complimentary opportunity to sample the sessions of the full Summit before registering. The full Summit runs June 14-29, 2012.
