For me, the value of coaching was better self-knowledge and insight. Specifically, I learned more about my strengths and what I bring to the table. I also learned strategies to deal with what I feel is the very “hands-on” management style of my boss. I learned how to better follow through on assignments that I give to people, and be sure that they understand the task and know the steps to take.
