Leadership In Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood

Leadership takes many forms.  Most effectively, it is when a visionary sees a conversation that is missing, and creates that conversation.  Mr. Rogers did that in a children’s television show that had a lasting impact, for several generations. Even more than a decade after his death, Mr. Rogers provides leadership.  PBS originally aired this segment a year after the 9/11 attacks and just months before Mr. Rogers passed away from stomach cancer at age 74.  It’s a short, poignant, inspiring clip:
